sadies narration 1

As I sit here and wonder about my life, and what has led to this moment, I can  still recall all the wonderful things that I was able to achieve and have.  I can honestly  say that I was happy.   I mean, I came from a very good family- my father being the best criminal lawyer in all of  Atlanta, and my mother one of the most known and most well respected women with all  her involvements in her charity work.     It was all supposed to be so easy for me, and I was going to achieve all of my dreams by following in my father’s footsteps and attend law school and then become a very  successful District Attorney and eventually find that right person to settle down and  have a family.   Sadly, that did not happen, and I find myself in the situation I am now.  How you may ask?   Easy, I chose to be smitten by a man I thought was my soul mate, and he consumed all of  me.  I then forgot all about what I wanted to achieve.  I only thought of

Prologue Revised

“ I am trapped in this dark hole,  “ I am trying to get out, but he does not allow me”, he is my  enemy and I wish he was gone.  “ Okay Sadie now why did you write this on your journal today and whom is this about. “ This is about my husband Dante and I wrote this on my journal because I needed to  finally tell my side of everything that has happened”.   Oh!  okay, so What do you mean Dante, and that he is your enemy?  said a puzzled Dr.  Thompson.  “ Dante is the one who has been beating me all this time”,  Sadie fought back tears, as she said  this and then suddenly  her nose began to bleed. “  Why would Dante hurt you Sadie?, stated Dr. Ray Thompson.  As he waited for her to respond  he then  noticed Sadie’s nose bleeding a bit stronger.  “  Sadie do you want me to call Dr. Brewster to schedule an appointment for your nose bleeds.   “ oh no!  Dr. Thompson she said,  “ that will not be necessary”.  Then she added   “  I have had

Sadie Carlyle awoke in a state of despair when she awoke from the hospital.  She  immediately began screaming very loudly.  She was so out of control that a strong  sedative was required to calm her down.   Her long red hair looked so dry, as she layed  in the hospital bed.   Her eyes looked so pale as they began to close slowly.   Her  emotions were so intense that you cold see the puffiness in her face from all the  hysterical crying.   It was so hard to believe that Sadie was once a captivating blue eyed red head that captivated a room with her profound beauty.   As she lay in her bed, her  nose began to bleed...      “Here he comes again screaming at me always  terrifying me why can’t he see that it is hurting me”!  Mrs. Carlyle! , Mrs. Carlyle!  called a man in a dark suit.  Yes,  she said as the man began  to question her.    “Can you please tell us what happened on the night of May 27, 2010? As she began to recall that night, h

It was a Monday Morning that mid date in November.   Mr. Charles Mason, District  attorney for the city of Raleigh in the state of North Carolina was informed he would be  taking the case to court beginning November 15, 2010.   He was relieved to begin on  this case.   Since the murder investigation had begun in May, all of the case was still  not  processed and ready for trial until late September. Since the criminal investigation did  not fully wrap up until late August.  There were many factors that were involved in this  investigation.  However it was mostly due in part to the long psychiatric evaluations  done to Mrs. Sadie Martin Carlyle and the fact that Dante’s parents fought to make sure  the trial was not moved to Atlanta Georgia were Sadie was born and raised.   This was  a very hard time for the Carlyle’s.   They were shocked at all that had transpired since  their only son’s death.  They both felt that the supposed victim and th

Prologue...Poem

Thoughts rush in my head, overwhelming me over and over,  consuming all of what is left of my spirit I hear the voices again.. driving me mad Each time even more stronger than the last time...  and pulling me further into the dark...but it is in the darkness that I break down, remembering the brutal torture you have placed me in again, you see I am no longer sane, I have lost all my senses and what remains of me is but a battered mind that has lost touch with reality...  Sadie Martin Carlyle   By: Sylvia Stein
